My Story

      Kenton Jevon Frazier, distinguished by his class rank of 19 and an exceptional grade point average of 5.080 at Bluffton High School, is poised to embark on an academic journey at the University of South Carolina's Columbia campus. With a focused commitment to his education, Kenton aims to double major in international business and supply chain management.

      Kenton's impact extends beyond academics. Notably, he was recognized as the runner for the best lobbyist during his participation in the Youth and Government program. He holds the esteemed position of a founding member of the Diversity and Inclusion Division Student Board in the Beaufort County School District. His involvement as a group member in the Superintendent's Diversity and Inclusion Board underscores his dedication to fostering inclusivity in educational settings.

      In the realm of community service, Kenton actively collaborates with organizations such as Bluffton Self-Help and the Bluffton Bulldogs, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact. He is also a founding member of the Lowcountry Crusaders, a mentoring and tutoring program for middle school youth. His dedication extends to the annual Fraser Family Community Dinner, where he serves as a tutor and mentor for Carrie's After School Camp.

      Kenton's passion for sports, particularly football and basketball, has not only enhanced his social experience but has also provided him with valuable lessons. These activities have emphasized the importance of extracurricular engagement for mental health and overall life satisfaction. Kenton recognizes the significance of connections with peers and individuals, understanding that these connections pave the way for future opportunities.

      Reflecting on his academic and social journey, Kenton values the lessons learned, particularly in the face of academic challenges like AP calculus. The essence of persistence and the development of good habits have been ingrained in him, shaping his mindset for success in life.

      Looking ahead, Kenton envisions a five-year plan that includes graduating as an honors student from the University of South Carolina with a degree in international business and supply chain management. His short-term goals involve securing a job offer, leveraging the strong reputation of the Darla Moore School of Business. As a long-term objective, he aspires to ascend the ranks in his workplace, eventually attaining a position in management. Kenton also plans to pursue a master's degree in business from a distinguished institution, recognizing the foundational role education plays in achieving these aspirations. His vision is not just a career path but a comprehensive approach to personal and professional growth.
